The Melbourne Fresh Distribution Centre in Truganina is a 36,000sqm state-of-the-art temperature controlled facility. Comprising of humidity controlled coolrooms for produce, standard chilled coolrooms and staging areas, along with administration offices and amenities areas for staff. Specialised ripening rooms for bananas, avocados are a feature of this facility. The centre also includes a truck wash station, a returns transfer facility and an elevated conveyor bridge connects to the adjacent Hilton Foods Meat processing factory.
